The most important domain to register is the .com.au as that tells your prospects you are local. If it’s not available you can check for the .net.au version. Yes, you can use .com if you like. There are also .ws and .me extensions if your name is already taken.
Q. Can you provide a domain name for me to use?
A. Smart Agent Websites will register a suitable domain name for you to use during your subscription. We will advise you of the best available domain name options for you and we will also handle the redirect of this domain name for you.
Q. Can I cancel my website subscription at any time?
A. Yes, just advise us using our contact form and your account will be cancelled at the end of the next billing cycle.
Q. How much content can I upload?
A. There is no limit to the amount of content that you can upload, however a sound marketing strategy is to keep the content ‘punchy’ and brief enough that a prospective client will read and view the entire page, not give up due to excessive volume. Remember sometimes ‘less is more’.
Q. What information do you require to build my website?
A. We require a personal photo to be uploaded, your public contact details, a personal bio [a short summary about you] and any website addresses you wish us to link your page too.
If you’re opting for the Premium or Professional packages we will need your social media profile details but we’ll walk you through this.
Q. How often can I update my web pages?
A. If you need to update the existing content on your page just email the changes to Smart Agent Websites and we will make the changes within 48 hours.
Alternatively you can watch our video tutorials in our membership area and make these changes yourself through the full CMS – Content Management System. It really is as easy as writing an email.
Q. Can I add more pages to my website?
A. Yes. The Standard Smart Agent Website contains up to four set up pages, the Premium Plan and Professional Plan between six to ten. You can easily add more pages yourself by following our easy video tutorials. If you would like us to do this for you we can continue to add additional pages. We will always quote you prior to any further work being undertaken on your behalf.
Q. Are there any more features being added to the Smart Agent Websites that I may want to use?
A. Yes we are always developing new add-ins. We will keep you updated through the Members Only Portal. There is always a range of new Plug Ins (functional tools) being made available . We also have our proprietary email marketing program Smart Email available and other exciting marketing options. Our members are always the first to be offered these new features.
Q. Will there be any additional costs to these new features?
A. Many are free and are simply added into your web page with our compliments. Others may incur additional costs and are optional for you to add on to your site if required.
